My question is; should I spend the hundred bux and get a short shifter or is there some home remedy for this mod? Any takers?

Buy a 7th gen short shifter, I have it in my car and so do a lot of other members here, works perfectly fine.

I seriously just hacksawed the shifter stick and adjusted the boot a little bit, looks gr8 in my opinion lol... ill probly get **** for it but its worked out fine. the original gearknob needs a bit of the hole filed out to make it fit back on though

Stock? Or an after market for the 7g?? I read on Twm performance page that the whole thing makes A difference. As in angles in the shifter and the new bearings And everrything. |
