I (as a third party in this instance) had to get my clutch fixed recently because the clutch wouldnt release. well come to find out (I think) 3 dampening springs snapped on the clutch pad itself.

Im curious what are possible cases for this happening? Both user and part error.

Actually, I would very much like the answer to this question as well.

My mechanic buddy said that it almost looked like some debris fell in between the flywheel and the clutch and thats how the spring was destroyed, but I don't see how any debris would have gotten in there... ???
