I was curious, what clutches do you use?

I've heard how awesome these clutches are, but alas I have suffered 2 blown clutches. both were the rally type (which is the cheapest yes).

the first lasted about 7 months, (snapped two springs in June) then this last one lasted about a month and a half.

sure I do play sometimes in my car, but I do not "speed shift" or anything crazy in it. I really can't explain why this had happened to my car.

one of the guys at Southbend (nothing against them, good people) said out right "you could have just been unlucky" though I'd not like to hear that regarding something I spend $400 dollars on, in one way I hope it true.

anyway to the other part of the question;

if you do use the Rally clutch, how long does it last for you? and how, if it has, did it go? lose a spring? or just die from use?

thanks for your time everyone,

Kevin

okay this is what happened to this clutch... usually... there is a metal cover in the middle... and it just gone... I just don't what to do... and the worst part is. I sent them the first kit back and they sent me it back with the original pressure plate (which had heat stress marks on it) so unless they tested it and said it was good, I wish they had sent me a new Pressure plate. I am starting to look at other avenues.. I really wish I didn't
