Just out of curiousity, and I'll make this short. I want to tune up my 6th Gen Toyota Celica, its a convertible and it has a few issues but I'll worry about that later, but as for tuning it up, I don't know where exactly to start with it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd appreciate any comments and feedback. (I checked out the FAQ a bit, but I wasn't exactly sure on where to begin with it.)

Replace or clean the following. (Your car may not have all these parts.) And invest in a Haynes Repair manual, esp if you're new to working on your own car. It's been extremely helpful for me!

or download the toyota service manuals. even better IMO x2 - the haynes hasn't ever done much for me. All the pics are of 5th gens.... I would also take a look at your brakes. I've had a couple stock calipers seize up on me in the past couple years. So I'd look at that. What year is the car? Auto or manual? -------------------- ![]() |
