so it's super cold and chiily here in Wisconsin. My passenger door has always given me problems in winter with the lock getting stuck either not locking or not opening.
but yesterday night, it wouldn't shut so I got out and tried pushing the door in. I gave it a nice shove and popped it in... wasn't til next mornigng that i noticed a HUGE crack/dent on the door.
turns out I busted it when I pushed the door shut. FML! lol... laugh.gif *sigh* what can u do? pics to come by the way

LOL. That sucks..

Luckily I live in the desert southwest and can drive my one and only year round with no real threats/effects from mother nature thumbsup.gif.. well maybe overheating haha

you 100% sure you did that closing the door and not some one slamming into it? i mean it seems like too much for just slamming the door imo. i usually try not to slam my door but usually do it from like the side not where the Handel is also is that like just the paint that lifted up or is the door it self dented/cracked?

yeah it was me. my lock's been giving me trouble every winter. it usually pops in when I push it but I guess the weather was too cold that night and i pushed a little too hard to cracked the paint. frown.gif!!!!

Sorry to see this, Chee La. Hopefully it won't cost too much to fix. I wonder why it does that... I'd check and adjust the hinges.

yeah, i might just lube up the hinges. hopefully that works and as for repairs, i might try and do it myself. seems like it just flex the paint too much and it crack. we'll see.

and as for me and Chris working together.

Incorrect... If Chuck Norris even THOUGHT about being there, everything would have shattered at a molecular level.

Back on topic. What are you going to do about the damage? I'd try taking the door panel off and seeing if there's any prayer of pushing some of the dent back out.

AAAHHHH!!!!!! FML. OMFG FML FMFLLLLL!!!!!!! it happened again! man, this is just a bad luck streak or something.
just ****ed up my fender at a stupid automatic car wash. why do they encase their card readers in jagged stone???? *SIGH* but i guess it's not too bad...............

just a fender. it's fixable. cracked my turns but i got stock ones put back on. scraped my lip a little bit but it needed repainting anyways. man, i gotta stop driving for a month or so. shake this bad luck from me.
