Taking the 2nd gen apart. Taking the head to a shop for a valve job and redone. More updates to come

In the market for a new radiator. Would OEM suffice, or should I go aftermarket like a Mishimoto?

Ended up picking up a Mishimoto radiator.

pistons, rods, cams, turbo, timing belt, tensioner, oil pump, ecu being replaced

The engine bay as it looks right now... it has to get worse before it gets better.

Looking good. I think I have this same task ahead of me. Hopefully it won't be as extensive as yours is. I'd just go OEM for the intake and exhaust gaskets. Good Luck.
