let me get right to the point. i have a 1996 celica st. the 7a in it is shot to **** and not worth even trying to rebuild. ive decided to go with a 2nd gen 3sgte swap (non-wrc model motor). ive been studying this swap for sometime now and i know theres a lot that goes into it. now my question: ive been trying to find a jumper harness to use for the swap so that i dont have to "reinvent the wheel" so to speak. now i know dr.tweak does make harnesses and i did leave him a message (waiting on call back).
but i do want to check out my other options. does any one know anyone who makes this type of harness (st185 3sgte into at200) other then tweak???
any comments would be helpfull. thanks all biggrin.gif

mr220v does. He's on several MR2 boards, so he should be easy to find.

you dont want a 2nd gen engine, trust me you want a 3rd. if cost is an issue, then get a 1MZ and have the wiring done.

There are no jumper harnesses because there is more to rewire than what could be done in a plug and play solution.
The 2nd gen motor is not bad, mine has been running great for the past 7 years or so. But these days it really makes no sense to swap one since 2nd gen+wiring costs+intercooler=3rd gen pricing. You might as well get the better turbo and efi system and stock topmount that comes along with buying a 3rd gen.
