I got my car back from the shop back on saturday night. I was SOOOOO excited and like KUYA (Ray) couldnt wait to drive my car back home. I had forgotten how much power my car had i couldnt control it. It took me just over a day to get used to it again. But oh well here are some pics of about 85-90% of my exterior project... enjoy biggrin.gif

WoW thanx guys for the positive replies i appreciate it a lot.

So yes i was thinking about it but after looking at my car it looks nice w/o it. Plus the spoiler i wanted i couldnt find it for a good price. I thought about the TRD spoiler also but i guess its a little too much. I'm just waiting about another month or so, or in the sring and Im going to get NEW rims. 18's smile.gif

And yes its a 404 kit molded onto the gt4 front end w/ curren tails.

The paint is actually black with red pearl. I'll take better pix later when i get my digicam back. And i have to wait for the sun to come back. tongue.gif

Man, your coupe is the best looking one I have ever seen. Now that I've seen the GT-4 setup on a coupe, I want it. Make it look aggressive as hell.

David... looking good bro. We should meet up and take pix since we're practically next door to each other. Our cars are like twins... you're the coupe version and I'm the HB version. Not many people (if any) have done both the GT-FOUR look and motor swap... and I must say that we're one of the few.

I'm probably going to bring my car back to the body shop of monday to get my front repaired. Hopefully they'll be quick with it like they were before. I'll PM you my contact info bro... maybe we can set up a SoCali meet. wink.gif

Is your car giving you any other problems? I know that I'm scared driving my car around in fear that I might do more damage to the bumper. I might order another GT-FOUR bumper to use for daily driving.

Keep up the good work bro.

I had a silver Curren (ST206 or coupe as it is called in the states) for 5 years. I bought a 3S GTE engine to make the swap but next i found and bought a silver 1998 GT4. Your car is unbelievable. especially the color. great job.

Having done the swap, i have to warn you that you are running a risk of blowing your transmission. The intercooler setup indicates to me that you are probably going to seek more power and i know for sure that your transmission will not handle it. Just dont be tempted to race any bull**** hondas because they are not worth it.

Do you have any plans on how to smooth out that gap between the hood and the bumper? Try to get the GT4 bumper. believe me its not just the gap that is different but if you take a closer look to a GT 4 bumper you will see that it is much different and much more aggressive.

David, are you using the 5S-FE tranny, or something else?

That's what I was wondering as well. This neoklis guy is making some assumptions without knowing the facts.

K yes i do have the GT4 bumper and hood. And yes i do have the 5sfe tranny unfortunately... frown.gif I wanna try to get the 3sge tranny, i think its stronger, anyone please correct me if I'm wrong. If not I'm also looking for a E153 tranny. But i not in any rush either. Last what I'm hoping will take that gap away is that i going to get the weather stripping put on. *crosses fingers*

Ray i hope we do meet up soon. This winter I'm going to clean up my engine. Ive seen your Team around and I've seen your car on www.toyotacelicaweb.com It looks like a damn good team that one day i could possibly be apart of.

Anyway later this week or month or when ever the sun some out ill go pick up my digicam and take sum better pics for all of you to see.

Oh and like i said before thanx for all the positive comments. biggrin.gif
