I'm noticing a lot of people on here are interested in the GT4 conversion kit, and I wanted to let you know that we decided to take a look at the kit and it's pricing, and have found we can get you a much better deal than what you've seen elsewhere.

Now please bear in mind, we're going off the part numbers that were posted in the GT4 thread, but I checked, and those are NOT the part numbers for the USDM Celica.

For example, the only hood shown for all USDM 6th gen Celicas is part number 53301-20480, and that does NOT supercede to 53301-20500.

I discovered that the reason you can't find info on 75034-20030 and a couple of the other part numbers is that the real part number is 75034-20030-XX, with XX being the color code for the part. So, on a black car, for instance, you would put in 75034-20030-C0, and that would be the correct part number.

At any rate, I could not verify the following part numbers:

81510-20750 (although it's counterpart, 81520-20750 comes up as a good number)
75033-20030-XX (although the other two color-coded parts came up)

They could be bad part numbers, or just not recognized here, although I'd love to know the hood grille and blinker part numbers if someone here that has done the conversion still has them.

Also, I know the hood insulator would be different. The part number would be 53341-XXXXX, so if someone has that, that would be great too.

Anyway, aside from the one blinker, the one hood grille, and the hood insulator, we can get these for $927.00! I'm sure the other parts will add around $100 or less, so figure about $1000 for the entire kit!

Most parts are actually in stock in the U.S. if you can believe that, so you could also get this entire kit in around a week.

We've been serving the Celica community (albeit mostly 7th gen) for about 4 years now, and would like to be of service to you if anyone is interested.

Sincerely,
David Draper

Got a ton of stuff for the MR2. You have a second gen, right? Is it turbo or N/A, and what are you looking for?

Let me know,

Front Strut Tower Brace typically runs about $199.99, and can be purchased here: http://www.trdsource.com/printable.php?parts_id=134

Springs....well, all depends on the individual tastes. I can't believe I missed a chance to pick up a set of TRD Japan MR2 coilovers for a price that was low enough I could've sold them for $1199! D'oh!

The TRD springs run about $254.99, and can be purchased here: http://www.trdsource.com/printable.php?parts_id=124

All others I'd have to check on for specific pricing.

Feel free to place an order or give me a buzz wink.gif

according to what he is saying, they are Toyota OE parts, so theyd be the urethane composite that stock bumpers are, theyd be true GT-4 parts.

i got all my stuff right from my local dealer for around 1000$. its nice to see that you are willing to offer the same discount that i got to the rest of the celica owners on here.

the grill that goes on top of the hood is:
76190-20010 plate assembly

i had the part number for the tunsignals, but i cant seem to find it.

see if you can get these other parts and how much they would be:
53510-20500 (GT 4 hood Latch)
81211-20370 fog lights
76087-20916 (Left) GT-4 Spoiler Posts
76088-20914 (Right) GT-4 Spoiler Posts
81014-20100 (Left) Projector Headlights
81012-20100 (Right) Projector Headlights
81130-20050 Clear High Beams
81170-20050 Clear High Beams

also, this is the correct bumper support, if somone dosnt feel like having to modify their stock one:
57202-20070 (frame Piece)
52131-20220 (front bumper bar

Are those prices going to be the same as long as you have the parts? I ask this because I would like to do the JDM front end in the future, but I could in no way afford it anytime soon haha

if you are serious about us 6geners purchasing then you should invest in one kit. make sure everything is there get a final price and then sell it to someone. Because it would be a waste of time on all of our parts if you couldnt get your hands on those missing peices. just a suggestion. biggrin.gif

this guy works for a toyota dealership. he is willing to give you the stuff at a discount.

the only trouble i had was getting the 3 hood vents and 2 turn signals from my local dealer. the reason i couldnt get them from toyota is because those part numbers are not correct because they dont have color codes included in the part number that we have listed. CMToyota thinks that he figured out the correct part number and that he could get those things in, but even if he cant, you can still get them from toyotaworld.com just like i did.

Well, I was hoping those were it....the one part number comes up, but the other doesn't.

I'm not going to have access to my Japan importer till Monday, but I'll forward the parts I couldn't get ahold of, and he'll get me prices by Tuesday.

And yes, the price would stay right about here for anyone that wants them in the future. wink.gif

But you see, it has been a problem in the past with US dealerships not getting all the correct parts. So what good is 9/10 of the parts you need cheap. then the smaller harder to find parts are missing. He needs to make sure he has EVERYTHING, or else the first person to buy it is screwed.

who had this problem? i believe that this is a big myth going around.

if you walk into a dealership and say "i want the celica gt4 hood and bumper", then there is a good chance they will not order the right thing. if you walk in there with part numbers, then youll get what you need. the part numbers for the US and Jspec parts are not the same. so there is no way they could send you the wrong thing.

David,

Just got a small suggestion or question for you. If it interests you, and you have the ability to pull strings, I think alot of people in this Community would love to see some of those sexy-ass Japanese Body Kits become available over here. If not full Body Kits, at least some Rear Bumpers and/or Sideskirts. Us 6th Gen'rs are getting shafted as far as Rear Bumpers and Sideskirts go. Lately, companies have been sticking their hands into 6th Gen Celica's and have been producing knock-off Front Bumpers, ie: the Blitz and Zyclone(?). It would be something to look into if possible.
