the plastic piece that connects from the wires to the light bulb wont budge

how did u all get urs out

i have tried brute force to push the clip down but i cant seem to get the light off of the harness

note:plastic sidemarker has already been removed, we are dealing with just the light bulb and lighting harness attached to car

any tools that will help

tried them, is there something else on the plastic peice i have to push or pull?

its kinda dark out there

I honestly don't remember because I had those sidemarkers shaved off, but are you sure they're the push-down type socket? I know some have to be flipped-up using a flat-head.
