I hate the fact that the car has a completely black interior and then a gray colored ceiling and visors. Has anyone torn into the visors or headliner and changed it all? Just curious as to what it looks like, multiple pictures would be appreciated!

I used black fabric/vinyl spray paint, I think I used like 3 cans..

I know there's others here who have done the same and plenty who have also used new cloth to wrap the headliner in.

was going to suggest the same thing, I've seen it done a handful of times. And you can do virtually any color you want, which probably only interests me and my obnoxious color car lol. but the possibilities are there

I paid a guy to do it. He charged me around $900 for labor and materials. Plus $60 for the celica letters on the seats, But this included the headliner, front seats, rear seats and center console. Really good deal. It is worth it because the interior looks new again.

Yeah.good deal but you need to find the right shop or person. Most of those upholstery shops do a crappy job.

I did my headliner in black suede, repainted all the plastic bits up there to black, and rewrapped the visors in suede as well. All black up top now

Think I may do this soon myself. I'm OCD, and it severely bothers me that all the interior is black except for the ceiling.

The psychological effect can be surprisingly strong -- having a lighter ceiling makes the space feel higher and more airy. Something to consider if you ever give rides to claustrophobes.

$900! I can't find anyone around here willing to do just my front seats for under $1200!
