Not just any car, or a celica even. I'm looking for a junker, dead or running, hopefully within a few hundred miles, so I can fetch it from Chico, CA...

Specifically:

AE82 85-87 Corolla FX-16... must be the FX-16 GTS with the 4AG motor. Don't car about the body/interior... can be rusted to death, dented to shiat, etc. So long as the wiring harness is good...

AE92 88-91 Corolla GTS... must be GTS with 4AGE... like above, doesn't have to run... would be nice if it did so I can drive home, but not necessary. Body is not a factor... must have complete wiring harness as above...

If any of you guys can check your local papers/used car dealerships and find something... I'd be much indebted to you. I'm willing to pay $0-$800 or so... depending on condition (like it matters much... would be nice if it was rebuildable also)... I have EVIL EVIL plans... >=]

HELP PLEASE! ;]

Bee

you're looking for a corolla... we can guess your plans as long as they involve a celica. Look all over everywhere in autotrader. It doesn't costas much as you would think to tow one to you.

Yeah... that is the right one. I already went and looked at it... it's pretty neat, however, the guy is looking for a lot, since it's still in pretty good condition. I'm more and more beginning to consider this project a loss cause... ;/

Thanks for the help fellas...

Most 4AG clips are JDM... which requires modification of the engine harness. I don't want to go there. Just buying an old beat-up USDM FF 4AG powered car (ae92 Corolla GTS or AE82 Corolla FX-16) would be a lot cheaper and require a lot less work, considering everything will simply swap over.
