Yeah, and if u look at his pictures of his car...the bad ones...he got into a lot of accidents...seems like he's either got bad luck or is a horsesh!t driver.

you can get a shifter like that with a button on it (like im thinking about doing), or just get one without a button, and jam the button down, so you just move it back and fourth... someone one the board just did that (forgot who though)... very dangerous, becuase if it accidentally gets knocked into reverse or something while your doing driving fast.... scary.....

or u can set it up loose so when u want to shift with manual knob u just push down and shift and it bounces right back because of spring.

I think im goign to try and do this it doesnt look that hard to do i just need a shifter, a button for the overdrive, and a sport for the overdrive. This should be fun and if i cant do it ill sell my shifter to my neighbor. i hope it works it would be sick to have.

I did something like that. Its very easy, almost too easy.

The wire for the OD Switch is ran up the side of the Shift Knob protected by a hard plastic cover. I pretty much sawed the cover in half, pulled the shiftknob out (OD Wire is very short) and combined the OD Wires to other electrical wires (pretty much lengthened the OD Wires) and ran the Wires to a switch elsewhere. Its very easy, just takes about 10-15 minutes and some patience.

its easy once you remove the platform the shift points are written on. IF I were to go back and do this again, I would unscrew the shift knob, pull it up as much as I could,

cut the plastic cover and the wire as jason said
remove the plastic molding around the shifter
remove the platform with the shift points
find the wire for OD
take the OD button out of the old shifter
put on a new shifter of your choice(be creative)
wire the button back onto the old wire, and just bolt it somewhere,
and then put it all back together.

I proise, it's really easy to do.
