I was removing my alternator to replace and found a lose wire that fell out. the wire is in the same harness as the alternators are and the sensor itself is just behind the alternator can any one tell me what this is i have a 7afe 1.8l 94 thanks

btw it has a black and yellow wire going to it just one.

Regulator check for the Dash (If I remember correctly) It lights up as an battery or alternator indicator on your dash in case your alternator decides to take a dump. (Someone correct me on this)

is it on the actual harness connector? there should be like i dont recall 2 or 4 pins.
some people tend to change out their alternators and sometimes its just their connectors crumbling and not making contact. -------------------- 94 Celica GT
