2 things are buggin me
1. My tint on the rear window is warped as hell from the rear defogger, should I get it replaced? They said that stripping the tint might damage the defogger wires 2. My seatbelt light is constantly on even when I am wearing my seatbelt! Any suggestions? Thnx! |

I have the same problem with my rear tint. But im stripping it myself. Screw the defogger. I personaly dont need it. I use my side views if my rear is foggy. Im just gonna strip it down anywayz. If u think u need the defogger, get a pro to do it.

Isn't there a liquid that u can use to disolve the tint a certain amount so u don't have to scrape it off.

I never heard of it. If anyone knows please post. I think u can use some kind of solvent to get rid of the adhesive part and instead of using a razor, u can use just a towel and some elbow grease so you wont harm the defogger.

You ready for this, any amonia based liquid will brake down the adhesive compound and make the tint brittle enough to just peel off. You can speed it up with a blow dryer. Hope it helps.

For the seatbelt light staying on, check under your seats there is a wire running to the latch. It might be broken or disconnected.
