Thats right, its time for another Colt State Park Meet!!!

Its been a couple years since we've hosted a CSP meet, and after talking to some of the members on the podcast we recently started, we decided it was time for another one!

Spetember 21st, @ Colt State Park, in Bristol, RI., We'll be meeting up around 12:30-1pm, hanging out, grilling some burgers and dogs, and generally having a great time!

We normally hang out at the park for a few hrs, checking out each others cars and what not, have a couple burgers and dogs, throw around a freezbie or football for awhile or whatever, then later can either take a cruise as a group (depending on how many cars there are, it can get difficult to do that here with larger groups) or head to dave and busters in providence, or go back to our or dustin and steffs place and have a little after party.

Its guaranteed to be a spectacular time this year, we've already got commitments from several long distance members, coming a long way to get to the meet, so lets get everyone here and make this a meet to remember for EVERYONE!

as always, everyone is welcome, bring a friend, the more the merrier! we generally invite any toyota/scion that wants to come, and hey, if you dont have a toyota or scion, not a big deal, come anyway!

I've got family in Westminster so I may just drive up Friday night to their place and then leave from Columbia with tiga, Purple.

Don't remind me about the drive. I wish I had more time for this meet but as Kurt and Mike know, I'll be at work until 3 am Friday morning and leaving for RI around 5 or 6. I have one day to make the 18 hour drive there and one day to make it back. We're leaving to come back home shortly after the meet. The timeline sucks but the meet will be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

I guess I have no choice lol. H20 fell through anyway. My buddy got pulled over and apparently his license is revoked? They followed him because his car used to be blue... it's white now and they gave him hell about it. Apparently you're suppose to notify the DMV of color change. (Had no idea) He also had no idea that his license was revoked. So they cuffed him and bent him over his trunk. Dude had a rough day yesterday. Then to top things off, his alternator **** the bed.

Trying to decide if I should replace my CV axle before the trip lol. I've been driving thousands of miles in the city on a torn boot, no noises yet... lol Should be okay for a 400 mile trip right?

Anyone traveling from my area that I could tag along with? I'll probably be bringing my gf, but it'd be cool if there were more than one Celica lol.

Also, any idea of lodging? Not doing 12 hours of driving in one day.

As long as you guys dont mind sleeping on couches\floor I can host a handfull of people here.
I have 4 reclining chairs, and carpeted floors, so bring a pillow and a sleeping bag or whatever if ya dont wanna spend the $ on a hotel for the night.

The past couple years my boss @ maaco has been really cool, and "sponsored" the meet, giving me enough money to buy burgers and dogs for the meet, and I put up a maaco banner for him while we have the meet. I will talk to him tomorrow to make sure that he is gonna do it again this year, if not, in past years, we just asked people to donate a few $ per person to cover all the food, and people usually just bring drinks.
I have a nice grill that I will be bringing, so if anyone has anything special they want to bring to cook on the grill, feel free!
I usually try to get a case (40) burgers, and 3 or 4 16packs of hot dogs, and some chorico dogs (I know most of ya wont know what they are, but trust me, youll love em..lol) or italian sausages and just ask a few of you guys to grab a 12 pack or soda, or a case of water or somthing so if ya wanna bring somthing, water or soda or some kind of drinks are always a safe bet.
As far as booze, there are no alcoholic beverages allowed in the park, so we usually just wait till we are all together, then decide where we are going and what we are doing as far as the after party. Hell, thats usually an event in itself! Lmao
Im really looking forward to this meet, its gonna be a blast!

I may end up stripping the engine down and dropping the block in this weekend. That I can reseal (I already have the oilpan gasket for some reason). I just don't like doing 1MZ beltsin the car as they're a royal bitch.
