I'm in the process of producing Complete intake kits for Both GT and ST's. biggrin.gif
They will have the following:
1. A mandarel-bent intake pipe-Chrome
2. A 2 1/2'' to 3" connector-(Throttle body to intake)
3. All the hose clamps
4. 2 Clear Blue vaccum hoses.
5. Cone air filter w/velocity stack.

There are two desighns im working on, both of which are identical to Injen designs I have seen.
1. S-bend
2. J-bend

Now right now I have finished the S intake and now i am going to finish the J intake(get it chromed). I will have finished both by the end of the week and will have pics by monday.

The full S intake kit will be around $100 and the J for $80.

Post if you are interested in seeing this go into production, sort of like a group buy.

You can post now if interested, you can always change your mind, i just need to see the number of people that want in. smile.gif

Remember, these are identical to the Injen style but at more than half the price!

The reason I havent made a cold air is because I cannot fabricate to a perfect fit like the short ram's.

My Celi was crashed before i bought it and the part of the body where the cold air would be passing through is mis-shaped so I could not guarantee a perfect fit like the short rams.

So inorder to make a cold air I would need a celi that is intact in that area.

Now, if you want a cold air that goes to the fender here is what I can do.

You can get the short ram now, then when I find a 6G that I can use I will try to make a seperate extension that connects to the S intake.
thats all i can think about for now

I already have one, but its a great idea man. I'm glad somebody finally started making these for the celi. Thanx for the effort. I will say that mine has been well worth the money. Keep up the work. smile.gif

Thanks smile.gif

Well when I got the Celi one of the first things I wanted to get for it was an intake.
So I was looking around and the Only one I found was the Injen for $230! confused.gif mad.gif

So now that I can I want to make them for the community so they don't pay for the overpriced Injen Intakes, which is what I almost did scince I found no other solution.

Just wait till u see the pics biggrin.gif

I'm interested in purchasing one of these. I'm kind of new to cars and I've got a question. What is the difference between the "J" and the "S"?

Ok, the J is mis more like an L, I just say J because I like it more than the letter L tongue.gif

It's more simple, comes out of the throttle body to the right then it curves downward, toward the radiator. The filter ends next to the distributor cap.

The S is similar but it bends once more to the right so thatthe filter is where the old air box was located.

U could probably have a muffler shop make u one that wouldnt be too expensive. One of my friends did this for his truck and they only charged $50 or so.

Yea that's possible, but is the pipe chrome tongue.gif
and you still need a filter after that.
My kit comes complete so that it is a direct bolt on, all that is needed it the removal of the stock tube and the airbox, slap this puppy on, and your set biggrin.gif

Opps, sorry noticed u were talking about the 3S, thought you were putting down my efforts biggrin.gif tongue.gif

i went to the border this past weekend. not laredo, but i've been there before. i went to weslaco, then to las flores. i live about 30 mi. south of san antonio. i don't have the engine in my car yet, need a few parts before i drop it in. but i will send you pics and measurements once it's done. that won't be for a few weeks though.
