Any CEL codes? I'm sure something would be popping up.
If you've just done the swap, has it got fresh fuel in the tank. During the install was there any maintenance done on the engine? -------------------- |

no cel codes atm even when i plug te1 and e1
fuel age less than 2 month, yesterday performed compression test 150 all across battery a bit low dead now so it wasnt spinning at full speed. also new plugs when took them off they were super black, meaning car is running extra rich. conclusion for me is vac leak or coolant temp sensor i will perform some checks when im home . but ideas rusty? vac diagram anywhwre? |

Yeah a few ideas, just trying to get more of an idea on what's happening, what's been replaced.
the idle sounds very off first idle should be ~1,800rpm and then after 5 mins or NOT should be a smooth 750 +/-50rpm First things to check, that all sensor plugs are fully plugged in all the way. It's something simple, but sometimes overlooked. Secondly vacuum lines: MAP sensor: from the sensor itself, runs along the top acis chamber and plugs into the intake manifold just after the throttle body. On the intake pipe: Idle line/big hose, from the intake pipe to the ISCV which lives under the TB Vacuum line/small, hose goes to a 'T' section hard line that goes to idle up and to the back of the engine, can't remember exactly where off the top of my head. Sensors to check they are: clean & operate as they should Idle Speed Control Valve (ISCV) - chances are this is dirty Water temp sensor TBPS - was replaced and was set right? I wish I had a vacuum diagram of the gen 3, I have a gen 2 diagram -------------------- |

Interesting. As those parts are the most likely things to be causing the problems.
So you're happy with the engine wiring, no faults in the loom? All sensor connections are fully pushed all the way in? When parts were replaced, were they installed correctly & the right way? The ISCV, how was that cleaned, rebuilt and adjusted? From memory they were computer controlled and not really manually adjustable? Any chance of some decent photos of the engine bay and possibility of a video of the idle + trying to rev? -------------------- |

all eiring was connevted correctly i just took it out to double check it all today, all sensirs r good to go i have bo ps belt so ps atm, also ac idle up valve not connected to the harness but connected to the vacuum, ill get a video when i can and isc cleaned with tb cleaner and replaced the gasket for the coolant and installed with fipg around and valve was stuck shut when cleaned it moves easily inside and yes its adjustable with the throttle body measure resistance when in idle abd when throttle about to open
