abatardi: the piping is 3 in., and I would prefer if you bought the whole kit because if you were to get "just the pipe, it would still be close to the price of the kit...well not that close but close...just tell me if you can do this, if you cant I will speak with you about after you reply.

tim86: That's fine, you can get one later smile.gif

3" is perfect. I need this for an intake for a 3sgte and I think it might work with how my pipe is running, that's why I'm trying to get off as cheap as possible here (in case it doesn't fit).

But yeah, I'm down...but can't pay until friday. Let me know where to send payment to (PayPal preferred). And if it doesn't work I guess I can just sell it on here again or throw it up on eBay.

hehe, im letting you know that making the intake takes a while because I have alot of work to do with school...(I knew I shouldn't have signed up for ALL AP classes mad.gif )....but in this case all you want is the pipe, and you want it cheaper than $100 dolars, which is the cheapest for a celi. S tube intake anywhere....the only way is if you want to buy the one I already have installed, because selling a new tube for lower is overkill, I'll sell you mine (i'll PM you on the price) and polish it with mothers smile.gif

EDIT: so if you want this tube(the one in the pic), here's the updated list...

1.Jussimple
2.tim86(someday biggrin.gif )
3.98celica3?
4.silver94celicaowner?
5.abatardi(just the pipe)

no offence but i thoughtpeople on here are sapossed to help out others, like on deals, it seems that you are, shet ripping peps off. 80-100 bucks, for a filter for 10 bucks and a pipe wich you can cut 2-4 for 30 bucks and well some other little epace for under 10 bucks..... well i guess for people that dont feel like doing any searching its good, also the intakes your making will make your car run worse, just to let ya'll know what you paying for.

Ok, to clear thing's up...

piping is $40
finish on the tube is $20
couplings and hose clamps around$10
and the filter is $30

so the materials total is around $90 to $100
and remember I still need to use the mandrel so back off, how can I give a better deal?

It's cool dude, I know the piping sounds expensive but One guy owns all of the muffler shops here and he's a real a$$ when it comes to charging mad.gif

He charged my cousin $60 just to install his muffler, didn't even take the guy 10 minutes!

Got my intake today. Looks awesome. Very high quality and very nice packing job. Everything is top notch.

Also if anyone's interested, this will fit on a 3sgte swap with a little nudging. smile.gif

Edit: Got the "S" style intake.

Yeah it's good stuff.

Forgot to mention though that if you're running 3sgte swap WITH AFM it probably won't work. But if you're running off a map sensor alone it will be good.

was wondering if that cai for gt's would have the splash guard with them? as i would be driving in rain a lot and puddles all over so i wasnt sure if i would get a lot of water in it? if i were to purchase one.

Akimbo, iv'e been making them for a while now biggrin.gif

Crzybakerdog, I dont sell them with a splashguard, the best thing you can do if you want a CAI is to get a bypass valve, so that in case of complete submergeing, it doesnt hydrolock.
