I love winter, today I found the paint above my pass. window all scratched and chipped off. Apparently someone used my car to catch themself when they were slipping on ice. It looks like they had about 5 rings on and just dragged them across the paint. Oh well, one more thing to add to the list when it goes into the body shop.

i really feel sorry for you guys

its like 70degrees here

but. gas prices are at like 1.75 for regular. most likely because of the cold back east and the extra heating oil that is being used(it's BS i tell ya!)

God only knows why,

the sad thing is that all CA gas now contains some organic crap

so, we are using less oil products, the east coast is using more of a different oil product, and our prices are increasing a whole lot

it really sucks, but the worst part is that my NEW engine is getting the same MPG as my previous engine boosting at 8psi.

damn break in period

Only like 200 people to bash 'til I get my venegence!!

(Amazingly.. the paint job on the other car saved my ass.. all his paint rubbed off on my car and minimised the scratches smile.gif)

ya, im about to go and bitch at toyota,

the car also shakes when at idle in park and drive and when i step on the gas right when it hits 1krpm

i think the timing is off but those bitches should have done that right in the first place.

i would much rather have the turbo on and get this milage.

Snow is a love/hate relationship... Causes accidents and the salt is just terrible especially when your windsheild washers get frozen, and everyone's car generally looks like crap. But where would we be without snow covered parking lots?

Heh well last winter, right before Christmas I hit ice and slid about 30 feet into a fire hidrent. Needless to say the big azz bolt went through my right headlight ripped it through the right fender and broke my front bumper in half. Not only did all that have to be fixed but i needed a new turn signal and a couple frame arms that were randomly bent. I also hit a curb on the way home and bent both driver side rims. 3gs in damage total. I still owe my parents alot of money. mad.gif

winter is a lot more fun with snow tires. I know a lot of you don't have the cash for them, but I would say you can not afford not to have them.

5 months after I bought my celica I was driving the back roads in Quebec (Yoko smow tires) with about 6" of fresh power at midnight....
what a wet dream that was...

with snow tires, celicas are great in the snow.
