custom. you can probably grab one off of ebay and re-weld the B pillar mounts

Ive been thinking of selling my harness bar now that I have my new seats. All I need to find is an extended harness thatll reach back to my 3pt strut bar.

negative dont run a harness to the rear strut bar, the longer the harness the weaker it is, best to run a bar right behind the front seats where the pillars are for the seat belt mounts, that is the safest way.

I wonder if the floorboard bent in an accident, and the seat went one way and your harness bar the opposite, could the harness cut you in half? Or if they bent towards each other the harness would suddenly become loose? Do they normally attach the seat to the same frame i.e. a full roll cage?

jesus that would be a serious accident, like final destination type of accident.

Ok so maybe more realistically, you get in an accident and the rear strut bar moves an inch relative to the seat, thats either an inch of slack or and inch tighter. Seems quite probably in a serious accident. Im just thinking out loud and talking out of my ass though.

You don't really want to attach a harness to anything that's bolted to your car, welded points only or proper seatbelt securing points. Bolts can break in the event of an accident, if that happens you' ll be left with no seatbelts.

Seat belts are factory bolted into a car...??? Even super cars have some that are bolted. I think its safe to say that a celica wont be doing over 200 MPH and break a seat belt before it kills the driver anyway.

The seatbelt is bolted, yes, it's bolted to the main structure of the car by a big bolt so it's a strong point that's extremely unlikely to fail in the result of a crash.

The rear strut bar (where a lot of people attach the seatbelts to) it's bolted down by the small bolts that hold the suspension top in place, these do fail easily.
