Hello guys as I said on the title, my power steering pump is leaking, I m thinking to replace the seals with this,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Power-Steering-P...=item51be181fb9
but I don't know if this will fit on mine, since mine is a 1994 JDM 3SGE engine.
Is there a possibility to fit? This kit if I m not mistaken is made for US models, but I think that the steering pump, might be the same, can anyone confirm this?

And if this will fit, is it good, should I give it a shot?

please tell me why you are trying to buy pump from a tercel if your car is obviously a toyota celica. the celica is not a rare car in italy. just buy the 94-99 pump seals and be done with it.

not entirely sure if you have the superstrut rack. whether there is a difference between mcpherson and superstrut rack i highly doubt it. but best go to your local toyota dealer and see which other toyota vehicles are compatible with your celica steering rack pump seal.

I have mine replaced when I bought it before couple of months.
The mechanic charged me 40-50 euros so I didn't got into the DIY proccess.
If you are not sure it might be better than buying something that maybe will not fit.

Bonzai thanks for your reply, you are right for what you said, but if you check under the action there is a list for compatible vehicles for this kit, and the celica is listed as a compatible vehicle for all trims from 1994-1999. My main question is if this kit will fit on a JDM celica.

underground_design thanks for your reply!
My mechanic insist it would be better to replace with a used one, which he estimates to cost around 100 euros. The thing now is that
there are not many sources than the dealership in Cyprus since it's an island and it costs around 100 euros. So if I buy for ebay it will cost
approximately 20 euros which is a big difference and a risk I am afford to do, since if there are worn shafts that run out of the main body of the
pump it will leak anyway.
I rather repair my pump than replace it again. I have replaced the pump in the past for a used one and lasted a couple of months. I want to find
the best solution which I can afford, I m on extremely tight budget, that's why I m asking for other members experiences.

If you are not in a real hurry, I could ask him how much he wants for a set of new seals, get them and send them to you .
Or if a member that knows could advice which ebay set would do the job that' would be nice.
The cost diference is big
