Hello All: I am wondering if a factory cruise control be installed on a 1996 ST with AT200 and A7-FE engine. Is the wiring all there? if I purchase the following:

Actuator, Cruise control switch, Cruise ECU, etc.

Please educate me.

Thanks

Meh, anything is possible but I don't foresee it being worth the trouble. The only time I'd use cruise was when my knee was hurting.

njccmd2002 Thank you for the input. I really appreciate it. Most of my travel is on the highway to work and back so Cruise would be a great option.

Hello: I found a nicely written thread on how to add cruise control to a non cruise control ST. It is a bit involved project and requires additonal wiring to be run between the CCM (cruise control module) to actuator and brake switches. The parts have to be out of a doner ST and not GT as I understood. Not sure if I can find another ST that will have all the parts that I would need so this project goes into the list of long-term projects.

As I understood from that How to; Actuator is a strange piece of equipment, apparently one end goies in the engine bay and the other end is installed over the accelerator padel. Do you have that complete set with wiring? Also what else you have as I would need the following:

CCM
brake switch,

I have lined up steering wheel that comes with clock spring and switch. You can PM/text me a picture and price. I will send you my cell.

Thanks
