 Short Ram Intake (Air Temperature Sensor Placement) |

Does the air Temperature sensor need to be in the actual pipe of the Short Ram intake itself (like how a MAF is inside of other intakes)?
Or can it be in a short hose that is clamped onto a thin offshoot from the pipe? |

It needs to be in the air stream to be accurate, can't read the air temp if there's not air flowing past it.

Exactly what I thought, I'll be cutting off that bit of the intake and drilling a hole, fitting a grommet and placing the air temperature sensor in ther actual intake pipe tomorrow. |
