I'm going to drop my 95 celica with the eibach sportline kit, is the alignment kit really nescessary?

An alignment, yes. The alignment kit, no. If you find you can't get you alignment back into specs with the factory adjustments after you have lowered the car, you can get the Toyota crash bolts from Toyota for a couple bucks, and they will do the trick.
