i know that the 3d gen headers fit a 91-92 mr2 with a 5sfe, im not sure if the head pattern is the same up from 94-99 celica compared to the mr2. someone would need to confirm.

They are both S motors so it should fit, pretty sure. in terms of the flange piece on the manifold, im not sure if there is any mods needed just to grind some material off but thats minor.
but it looks like you'll have to reconnect it to the exhaust -------------------- 94 Celica GT

I could of told you all the nick nacs in the pm. He means it won't bolt up to the rest of your exhause system. You'll need a shop to do it unless your pro welder

the ebay header i've had on for 4 years, your cars just n/a i assume so you shouldn't have issues with the ebay ones. You may need to wrap it due to the heat it produces or get it coated. this way it bolts on directly.

It is an n.a but I do have cams inside with a port and polish.
That's why I want a good exhaust if not I would be more then happy to stick with an eBay one. Don't wanna sounds like a jerk but it sucks how you ask for help and everyone just tries to push you a way from the 5sfe that motor with cams a tune and the suspension done doesn't feel bad specially if the car is just used as a daily. Ima swap the motor out one day but when you have a few 5sfe''s laying a around **** why not play with them whlile you can lol. |

because it is a 5S. so its P&P and has cams, adding a header will gain you maybe 3 HP? you asked if the 3S-FE or 3S-GE header would bolt up. while the header might bolt up, nothing else will. and it might interfere with the AC compressor, i dont know. the Ebay header has been proven to fit and work.
after all that, its still a 5S and NA. dont expect much -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo

I just believe these engines and cars are so old why not swap a motor Into it. I had a 7afe and put a full exhaust on it. Was fun for a little but nothing compared to a swap.

its ok a cammed 5sfe will pass smog but not 3sge. everyone knows that, especially in cali headers on a 5sfe and cams = 100% smog legal, it will be fun when they put the sniffer on it even if its obd1!
good luck with ur build! not giving advice or opinions to anyone, do what u want. go buy the header and make it fit u will gain at least 3hp like smaay said, 3hp=100 dollar per horse lol |

5s header is dirt cheap at ~80 bucks. Even if it doesn't add much, combine that with your cams, headers, bigger midpipe, and exhaust, and intake, plugs, wires, and if you can add performance clutch, you will have a decent daily

I know what you're saying smaay, bang for buck, when compared to turbo, its not all that. But when you consider a car thats not worth being turboed or they have no plans for turbo, many cars go through the N/A build. These are just upgrades from stock, and you could still use them for a turbo project so its not a waste of money - theres growth.
I dont think his goal is turbo at the moment. the only thing you would lose from ALL these parts i listed, if you go turbo on a 5s would be the headers (which is essentially the cheapest part on the list) and you could use everything else still. I just spent alot of time money and work on my 5s. Cams, ebay header, apexi neo, port polish, shaving the head, custom intake manifold ect... not to mention lapping valves is a bitch especially with the valve setup on a toyota. I really may have gained about 15hp but it was not noticeable. now Im swapping in a v6 1mz. which is what I should have done in the first place and it would have cost the same or less and doubled the HP... Just saying the 5s is not worth the effort unless you got cash to blow. But then why would you waste you time.

If you want a header for the 5sfe. The best bang for your buck would be the Aussie header. Its designed for a 5sfe and for a celica. I think 5th gen but you can always modify the downpipe. The reason why I say its the best bang for the buck is because it'll cost $200-$300 but its 4-2-1 header style. My Buddie has it on his 5th gen in the bay area and he loves it. He says it feels a lot more torquier. And he hates the eBay header BTW. He prefers the 3rd rev 5sfe header(no cat) from the late model camrys. Lol.
