Yes, you can do it. As long as you are willing to do it. If you are serious about swapping your 3-post spoiler to 2-post spoiler. You have two options. The first option is to find a rear hatch that already has the 2-post spoiler. The 2nd option would be to drill in new holes onto your current 3-post hatch while covering the ones that you will no longer be using anymore. The second option requires more work and patience. Here's a thread that talks about doing the 3-post to 2-post spoiler: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=49898
I have a 1998 Celica ST204, and it also had the 3-post spoiler. I chose the second option and i have not regretted my decision on going to the 2-post spoiler since. ![]() This post has been edited by CelicaDICE: Jul 27, 2016 - 12:06 AM -------------------- Rare JDM Dealer Option Parking(Proximitiy) Senor for sale

not hard just extra body work and painting on the hatch. you can do it yourself or pay a shop. either way its more like money than it is hard.

definitely worth doing.
and it's really not that much work. basically take off your 3post spoiler. drill 2 holes (one on each side) and cover the old unused holes. and looks loads better. ![]() ![]() -------------------- ![]() *1997 Celica ST - 3SGE Greytop BEAMS *1977 Celica RA29 - Classic Cruiser *2005 Matrix AWD - dedded but still hanging around like a ghost 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium - Sports mode is fun. |
