your actual in gear acceleration was faster, but being auto, my power was more constant especially through gear shifts

i think he started the run in second gear, shifted into 3rd at 60mph, then 4th around 90mph

no offense but i highly doubt a turbo ST could keep up with a celica running a 3sgte, but ehhh who knows.

thats why i said about, lol

yours is faster, especially when from 80 and up

my car just had constant acceleration.

you would still own me, lol, but atleast i kicked the living crap out of any NA celica i came across

my car is so slow now.

I'll race for pinks in my Rex or parents' Mazda. I think I'd kill you in the Rex, but would be close in the Mazda (It's a 626 with a JDM KL-ZE swapped in).

EDIT
BTW, nice. Could definitely see much better, the last video you couldn't shift at all compared to this one.

its alot of little things, but it all adds up. plus my car is more built for handling more then streight line, and i havent messed with any boost pressures which makes a big difference, so thats why i think itd be very close, but you gotta have a little faith in yourself hehe

similar topic, i thought your swap was or almost is completed supersprynt, whys your car still torn up in your sig?

Hehe, my connection was going horribly slow(like 3 minutes for each page), so I did just take the easy way out rather than splitting it up and disposing of the post properly, which would've taken a long time, and in the time that it might've taken, people might've started arguing. In the future I'll take the time to properly dispose of the posts, even if it takes me a while because of the school's internet connection. smile.gif

Hehe, I should follow my own advice and not be hypocritical though. tongue.gif I've told all of the moderators to not delete anything the easy way and instead go the long way so that we have records of what's been deleted and who's been acting up, and I should always do that myself, even if it does take a long time to do due to slow internet access. I made a mistake, and Tim is just hasseling me about it in a friendly way. smile.gif

Koni Adjustable Dampers
16" Speedline lightweight wheels w/ Kumho 712 tires (needs more stick)

Thats just what is installed right now, that deals with performance of the car, ive decided to fix it up a bit and make it look pretty before continueing into messing with boost pressures, upgrading the IC and turbo as well as fuel system, timing, and all around tuning. just like anything else it is an ongoing project.

actually what would be more interesting is i bet everyone is interested in a full detail of your mods? what is workin well in the celica for the 3sgte??

and one other quick question, with the 2sRUS BC, does that do anything with the fuel cut? and what is the fuel cut on your motor? i know the later MR2 models they raised the stock fuel cut, JW, cuz i hit mine going down the highway the other day, and i dont have a boost gauge yet, so im wondering what PSI i was at and why did the wastegate not keep up at stock boost levels...

stock fuel cut hits at roughly 12psi. theres one hose u can plug and get ride of feul cut if you want, which i do every once and a while. the Two R us doesn NOT elimate fuel cut.

and by the list of mods you have, im pretty sure a swap celica could take your MR2 from 40 or above. smile.gif

were taking lots of vids and going to compile an online video this summer. and yea, i agree with you over 40 i bet the celica would probably get me, me and my friend were comparing cars today, my mr2 vs my friends KLZE PGT, and from a roll at 40 we were barely even, hed go WOT a little before me, and we would accelerate and i very slowly gained on him, but not enough to really catch him. from a stop its no contest, he beat me once from a stop and thats cuz i bogged it out from not being really used to the clutch yet. the short race from 35-65 he pulled on me for a while because he started in 2nd and i started in 3rd, i started gaining, then the fuel cut went off and that was the end of that.

im not really keen on getting rid of the fuel cut all togeather, but i want to get a FCD in the near future.
