I have an idea for a tail light conversion. I was curious if you think it would be possible to take Acura RSX tail lights, normal or alteza, and put them in the back of a celica (with a few minor modifications) Do you think this would be a good idea, or even look good??? If not, what are some other tail light conversions out there? I know about the S2000, which looks bad ass, but I don't wanna copy someone's idea if I can come up with something of my own. Thanks all.

Now that's an oxymoron for you...

I personally like the 6th gen tails just fine as they are. That's what I'd call ORIGINAL! ;]

I actually thought about using RSX tail-lights for a conversion as well, because I like them a lot.

Then I began photoshopping them onto my car. Once I did this I realized that the outside edge of each tail-light has a sharp-ish angle that would not look good when molded into a Celica, due to the Celica's curved corner. wink.gif

Maybe you're thinking Integra or Prelude tail-lights? I've seen both of those on sixth generation Celicas. wink.gif

how about making your own tail light covers.... that way you can have something that looks original but can always go back to the stock look

I just thought about the Mazda 6 tail light conversion and I don't know if that'd be possible since there are two parts to each tail light. That'd still be sick though. I was also thinking about a BMW Z4 tail light conversion. I think that's be sick to. I'd photoshop but it's hard to find a picture of the ass of my car.

Damn, Any Ferrari tail light conversion would be sexy like that one dude did with the enzo and RX-7 FD. (Originality costs a lot of money and going all out will probably cost as much as getting a new car...)

OR DIABLO would be nuts.

I wonder how Altezza IS300 tails would look on a curren rear.

Heck might as well try the G35 coupe on the celica coupe. I think that would look sick.

And have you guys noticed that the new Viper's tail lights are REALLY similar to JDM curren tails...hehe

I think S13X special edition tails would look sick too.

Even for originality I could see Benz E-Class tails on a coupe and maybe a hatchback, or even SL tails.

But I think I would rather just stick with the JDM smoke curren tail lights I got....

Too much thought being made but have not yet seen the obvious. I have plans to make Euro clear using the 94 tailights as a base. I have already bought a pair and i got the material. I have to cut the clear material and paint the inner part of the tail light nickel or something. Its on my to do list. I will let you know how it turns out.

Neoklis if you do that and find a way to mass produce them you are going to have a lot of $ coming in. smile.gif If you decide to sell a set of them pm me b/c I will definitely buy a pair.

As for the conversions I say somebody needs to get Cadillac tails like all of the s-10's I see. wink.gif
They might not look good, but they'd be unique on a celi.
