I used Krylon quick dry spray paint (normal paint) and Krylon's quick dry clear coat...

Popping the pieces out where simple, the right a/c duct gave me the most problem but a bit of tugging and shaking got it out.

Painting is quite simple, since this is quick dry it usually takes about 12 minutes to dry... basically i lightly went over the pieces (about 16 inches from each piece) than I let it dry, went back did another coat a bit heavier than the 1st, than of course the next coat a bit heavier. for the 2nd and 3rd coat you want to make sure you get the whole panel covered.

Once this was done, its a rule to sand, but its not necessary as long as you spray right. So I layed a light coat of clear coat almost like a mist. let it dry, than went over the panel thick making sure to evenly coat it (if you have a nice lighted area you can tell by the gloss highlight of the clear coat adhering to your panel). Once this coat dried, I sanded it with 2000 wet/dry, the reason for the 2000 wet dry is to give the last coat a nice deep clean smooth look.

Let it dry a couple of hours, and your ready to go... i normally put a nice coat of wax on it to keep it protected and shiny too.. (although those pics are taken before the waxing, but ill take some more)...
