Hey guys, i drove down to miami about 300 miles. the trip went fine. driving back, i stopped at a gas station, put in an octane booster and fulled the tank up with high octane gas. Then, my check engine lighyt came on and has been on ever since. Do you know why this could be???

most of the time you shouldnt ignore check engine lights, the problem could just get worse. Like andason said check out the how to section on how to see the code of the sesor that went off. And the only way to reset your ECU is to disconect the battery for like 5-10 minutes.

hey i had the same thing... the guy i got my car from..., a machanic, and his son a toyota machanic, said to tighten you gas cap... an then reset it, like take off you neg on yuor batt. you really dont have to reset it though... just check the gas cap... thats all mine was... just a thought, might help, but might not,,, but if it was after you got gas, thats most likly it, mine does it when i dont tighten it real hard.
