car died for some reason, battery/altenator? Options

ok heres the story, i decided to midnight bowling last night so i pick up my buddy went to this hotel to see his gf for like 5 min and as usual it was raining out and i just parked right outside the lobby, well after leaving the car was fine and it was quite nipply out with the rain anyway so when we get to the bowling alley it is so packed and im like we arnt going to bowl i think. Well after findind a spot to park at the end of the lot we go inside and end finding some friends to tag along with. So after bowling was done we decided to go to dennys afterwards, so my friend, another friend and I all get into my car and right away i try starting the car and nothing. I mean nothing light dont go on car doesnt even try to start and im like wtf. So tried again and then when we were all in im like uhhh the car isnt turning over guys. then i noticed that ac lights were on the key ring light , oil and brake light were all on very dimly. I was thinking did i not shut my door all the way ( which could quite possibly be the case. In stead i pop the hoood and look at the battery. i lift up this rubber peice to see the terminal looked pretty coroded with all the white stuff around it. Well it was really cold out and we started asking people if they had jumper cables but all the people left either didnt have them or were too drunk from dancing inside the bar. Well after calling home to have someone come out with some cables to see if we can jump the battery, we were all inside and listening to the strange sounds that were coming out of the AC it seemed like, sounded like little beeps with clicking inbetween every 5 seconds about. Then i started fooling around with the dome lights and then car starting beeping as if the doors were open. It seemed as if the car had some serious problems going on. Well the night didnt get much better. I called one of my buddies whos real big into cars (owns two del sols) and he should be pretty close to the bowling alley but it turns out that he is in tenneesee for vacation or what not with the flu now. So he explains to me that if i can get the car going in first about 5-10mph then pop the clutch that i could start the engine so we decided to do this my friends start pushing the car then i proceed to do what he tells me and the car basically stalls and my friends knee smashed into the back bumper (ouch) so i decided to try it one more time and no go. Well right after the second time of trying a police officer comes by and starts talking about getting a tow truck and do you have any money, I was pist and told him that someone was coming and asked if it was alright to leave the car in the lot and he said sure if you take car of it tomorrow. I didnt want to get a tow truck cause i only live 3 miles away so thats not really worth it. Anyway my sister finally arrives without jumper cables and im really pist because no one told her to bring any (i talked to my dad) well i took off the face plate insided my car and some other stuff like money and went back home. Then i got my moms car finally went to dennys ate then took my frined home then went back home and went to bed around 4:30. Im not too sure what the problem is with the car im just going to go get it and see if i can jump start battery and then drive it home and maby get a new battery or what not. tell me what you guys think??

well it could be a few things, your alt could not be charging your battery, your battery could not be taking the charge, or the corrosion on your battery terminals is causing a weak connection. i suggest cleaning this asap. if the jump works and your car starts up and doesnt die, then your battery is dead, if it starts up and runs normally get your battery checked at autozone and see if a new one is needed

Anderson im in waukesha, just let you know , anyways so i got the car battery terminals cleaned then went to sears and got a new battery with a warrenty and had them install it for a total of 100$. anyway problem number 2 arises now, i got the car back home and when i turned it off the cars electrical stated up and the ac was blowing and the brake light light sensor and oil sensor light were on just like last night and i was like wtf, then i realized that something is not right. the eletrical is turning itself on without keys, so i need to know what can cause this im waiting for my uncle he is a jag mechanic to call back so i might have to drive to see him tonight to see what to do about this. completely random elcetrical problems, good thing the battery has a warrenty cause i think it will die over night if this continues.

anyway so i narrowed down the problem to be one of the few things. I beleive from what another mechanic told my father is that the door sensor is faulty and becasue when i move the dome light back and forth it acts as if the doors are opening and closing meaning that some senosor must need replacing. on tuesday my car is going into the shop to be looked at. basically they are going to take the door panel off and see where the sesor is so they can determine whether or not it is what is causing the problem with the electrical. right now the only problem i have is that if i put the parking brake on the light will go on so for now i cant park with the parking brake on.
