i have no clue why it slides above instead of in. all the other celicas i had drove didnt have sunroofes. thanks for the comments i am really liking the way it drives. the ride is nice not to bouncy, yet sporty enough.

probably aftermarket from the previous owner.

re the springs/skirts: nice and clean. I like.

I have a question though. did you install the rubber protectors with your skirts or did you just bolt the main pieces in? curious if the rubber protector/other parts are really necesary.

if it just pops up its considered a sun roof if it slides in its a moon roof and that has to be an after market roof from the previous owner

thanks guys for the comments, Ghost Dog, i did use the rubber seals, i only bolted the bottoms of the skirt to the car becuse i didnt want to drill all the holes in the side. i tried them with out the rubber pieces and they dont fit snug to the car so i put them back on. Bufferedan, yes they are the factory sideskirts.

I really don't know what you meant by 'rubber pieces' but mine are just the skirt with a littleplastic part at the top. They look fine.
