what is the differents?
i been told hatch is when you can put back seats down and coupe is 2 seater car -------------------- |

hatch has a hatch, and so the back seats can fold down. Coupe has a trunk, and the seats dont fold down.

Yeah, the back seats fold down, and you can hide in your trunk whenever the cops come to look for ya

if by weird, you mean dead sexy, then weird it is!
where the coupe has a really nice looking profile, the hatch.... looks like a fat girl. That's the only way I know to describe it. the way the coupe's trunk is flat, it's just awsome.

Why bother, the hatch would win. But then again, I'm kind of biased on this issue. My local Celi friend even agrees, and he has a Coupe(when we park next to each other I get more compliments even with my curbed 15's and 1/4 of the car done in black primer(saving for new rims and a paintjob). |

well since this thread is new i might as well us the oppurtunity to ask a little technical question.
are hatch & coupe parts interchangeable? i'm not talking about engine stuff. i mean like suspension & brakes. like i know the gt disc conversion is possible...but im looking at the gt4 brembo big brake kit. i see alot of sharing of parts from different honda car models. mostly i seen it with nissan cars. before someone says something (iono if ne one will but i'll say it ne ways) it maybe overkill on my little st but i love the look of the red brembos and my celica is mostly show. i just love that damn car damnit. cause if your talkin about speed & performance...my carrera is coming soon so =P |

I think i agree with the hatch being more beautiful than the coupe.
BUT, if you put the Curren into the picture i believe the hatch is  .Don't flame me please, i have had just about every Toyota model there is (or my family at least). The GT4 though (only hatch) is the best looking of all.

yeah, i dont get that... everybody talks about how currens are SOOOO dead sexy... and then they talk about how our rounded headlights and front end are SOOOO dead sexy... well when you put one sexy thing (curren) with another sexy thing (front end) you get pure sexy (the coupe)... but everybody seems to be hatin on the coupe for some reason... --------------------  |

NO WAY HATCH BACKS ARE BEST
this is my opinion, look on my car page above the hatch back, back looks better on the coupe the trunk sticks out and i like the wide look, when you look in your side mirror you see the side of the body, which look to me mint. -------------------- |

IMO one of the best looking 6 gens in america is a coupe... cant really say much for the ones over seas where they can actually get the good body kits without paying $987384257304 dollars... plus not to mention doggys... and the gt-4s...
