Is innertial drifting (or any other drifting method) causing damage to front wheel bearings? Or any other wheel bearings?
Anybody know? |

i have replaced my front wheel bearings twice now and need to again. the toyota dealer said it was because my rims are 7 inches wide compared to the skinny stocks. they said as long as i have custom rims plan on changing the wheel bearings often. so i learned how to do it my self

skinny stocks?
My stock rims are a lot wider than most cars out on the road. Does anyone know how wide they are? |

you have a 94 ST and I have a 98 GT. I'm sure that I have different stock rims. I was thinking like 6.5 inches for the GT's. Nice Color by the way.

the only thing you will see that color blue is a 2002 or newer corvette z06. paint was 145 a quart and it took 4 quarts. ouch and that didnt include the clear, primer, sealer, or the flames. i think we need to start a new topic on paint being that this one was for wheel bearings. oh well

I had to replace my driver's side wheel bearing and hub, a couple of months back. I do not drift at all. So I guess it's a combination of wear and tear + any pot holes or road construction, ect... The Celica had about 82K miles on it and it has stock GT rims.

Thanks....potholes and construction....hmm. I think I'm gonna try to sue or complain to my city council then. Too much bad roads lately and the thing just feel like pogo-ing along all the roads in my city.
