looking at the video at first i thought it was jdm, but then when i look at it i realized is the passenger door thats being closed and it was a LHD.

then i begin to think that the flames are not real. when you look at it closely they look kindda fake confused.gif

Yeah, Blitz DC's. They are like 3/4" thick and weigh basically nothing. which is why he has them just held up with a wire or something smile.gif

But yeah, a bit pricey. You can sometimes find the gauges for under $200 each but they also require a "live unit" to operate which is another $100 + tax + shipping on everything and you're over $500 easy. They are gorgeous tho smile.gif

Better than sex, well not really, but close enough.

I dont know why but i think that guy was not pushing it that much. maybe the camera held him back for safety purposes. I know my GT4 speeds up much quicker than that at a lower boost but , yeah that's some amazing piece of work.

really enjoyed it.

And to think for a minute there i thought maybe it was just me. Anyway, having a GT4 myself, i find it very difficult to believe that this guy is running at 1.25 bar boost (which normally means 300+bhp)

here is the quote from this guy

QUOTE
The BLUE GT4 is "BOSS33" (THOMAS) with around 300 PS and the RED GT4 belongs to me with around 320 PS...

just basic mods, like intake, exhaust, bosstctrl, etc.
this month we will add some new upgrades in order to brake (not brake just break) the 350 PS barrier...

well because it is a 7th. Gen. CELICA with 1.8 L TURBO KIT.
this guy told us he has 240 RWHP - we couldn't believe that and so we drawn a comparison between a BPU+ GT4 running at 1.15 bar vs. 7th gen celica... both cars in highest gear set.

where did u get the 1.25 bar??? it says 1.15 bar.

well at 1.25 bar your are running not more than 285+ PS / 370 Nm on a "STOCK" ST205 GERMAN SPEC...

there is no way to reach 300 bhp (310 PS) at 1.25 bar with all the stock restrictions (exhaust, intake, egr, etc.)

last year i took my car on a 4WD BOSCH dyno near the NÜRBURGRING and i gained 314 PS at 1.16 bar peak in 5th gear. unfortunately we didn't make a run in 4th gear 1:1 with a higher boost setup. another bad thing was that my clutch has to much spin and so i lost many ponies...

at the same time another guy from england runs 345 PS on 1.25 bar in 4th gear with identical mods. so i am looking forward to get the TRD metal clutch, cover and C1 flyweel in soon... smile.gif

Hey, its a bit unfair to the others on this site to talk to each other in German. Would you like it if did the same in Greek?

Anyway, regarding the 1.25 bar thing - sorry i just remembered it wrong.
and RWHP does n't it mean rear wheel? i thought all 7 gens were front wheel.

It would be nice to have a video of the two cars side by side.

i am sorry about the german excursion - just a fast reply...

well - you are right it the car has a FWD. but noone uses the term: "FWHP" so we use the common: "RWHP"... smile.gif

yes that would be nice, but the owner dosen't live in germany so it will be impossible for a side by side drive... frown.gif
