I was planning on using the 7th gen bbk for the front from my team's sponsor: www.rotora.com. I wasn't planning on moving the fronts to the rear, but rather do a GT drum-to-disc conversion. |

So what actually fits from the 7th gen celica? The calipers? The rotors? Are 7th gen discs all around? somebodys got to make a big brake kit for the 7th gen. Maybe Stillen. If the calipers fit, I could see cutting the dust shield off and putting on offset spacers for different(7th gen)aftermarket calipers. Why not buy a set of used brembos from a wrx or something on ebay and paying a machinist to make you the spacers? The only problem, if you could call it that, is your going to need at least 17" wheels to clear the calipers. So anybody have any ideals? I bought some rotors last month off ebay, and I have not had a chance to put them on yet.
So Im going to take a good look at the braking system. I'd like to get some steel brake lines and do it all at the same time. |
