New Jersey, anyone???, Thinking of celica meet Options

Hey guys, anyone here from NJ/PA/NY interested in getting a meet together this summer??? Gh0st_d0g and I mentioned it once, and i just wanna see what kind of response we could get. So, anybody interested????

a big tri-state meet would be awesome. I'd be down with anytime late June or early July if possible. I'll probably be doing some travelling in May/early June, and then be back to get my car repainted etc, so I have something to show when I meet all you guys. As for location, it depends where everyone is coming from. If a lot of guys from Maryland, Virginia are planning to trudge up here maybe southern NJ/PA would be good. I'd be willing to drive 3 hours max... so you guys lemme know.

btw: I am in central NJ if anyone cares, about 15 mins from Trenton (ghetto fabulous I know )

Well, the one guitarist moved from LBI when he was like 16 and we had a band in my area, so you probably wouldnt be familiar with the band (Manifst Destiny).....btw, i never liked the name that much, and this same guy got arrested for drugs soon after the band split

Yea I live outside Philadelphia like an hour and a half away from the Jersey Shore and my buddy has a house down there so I got a place to stay! I think a tri-state meeting would be a great idea man, I'm deffinatly down for it! Lets really get something together for sure!

Well, i think that this is all a go, as far as im concerned- I've seen way more interest for all this than i anticipated, so what the hell, i think we should do it Now we need to organize exactly when/where this will be, and what we will do. So far, this is what im thinking.......

1.) Meet up somewhere near south or central jersey/jersey shore
2.) For activities.......well, theres lots to do, like crusin a little bit, go-cart racing like at the Pigeon Forge meet, hit a billiard hall or something, grab some food somewhere, maybe even the beach ahhh.....cant wait for summer......

So yeah, either way, i guess thats my general idea. If anyone local wants to help me organize some stuff, maybe 95STCelica, or somebody, we could decide on a date and location, and we should be pretty much set. If you got any other ideas, or wanna help organize, post on here on send me a PM.

i don't know about the Ocean City thing...good idea tho...but im big on the cruising around..getting lunch and going to a pool hall just so we can shoot *hit about cars...

i really want to do this..my two best friends have a 1g talon..turbo..and my other has a 2003 tiburon..and all they do is talk *hit..id like to be able to hang out with some celica ppl cuz we got things in common...just dont use the gas pedal cuz my celi is slow

oh and i say we start a pool to get a round trip plane trip for Ashley..i'll chip in $50 lol...and she can ride with me

Yeah, i kinda feel like we should do our own thing, although making an appearance in Ocean City or maybe just meeting up there wouldnt be a bad idea. That would be cool to meet up there and just chill, talk about our cars and check out some other ones, then leave and cruise, do stuff, get food, whatever. Thats just my opinion....after all, this is a group thing, so everyones opinion counts. Any more info on where the meet is in Ocean City??

EDIT- Also, about the Ocean City thing, would that cost money to enter or is it a free thing?

the beach might not be the best idea cuz it will still be cold most likely..but that all depends on when the meet is going to be.

try more like 22 hour drive (i'm from south MO)...and hell yeah i'm willing drive that far! Anything to come back to jersey and see cars!!! Yeah no doubt the beach will probably be cold but i don't care! There is always JULY that would be better for me anyway. lol Anyway...definitly comming.
