ok i got a 95 conv and it has 8 speakers in it 2 tweeters 2 7'' in the door at bottom and then some other ones above them(not sure size) and then 2 7'' in the back and i want to replace all of them i got a radio picked out and now i want all new speakers. i need to know if i can put 8'' subs in the back and 7'' woofers in the bottom front and where to put the amp thanks need lots of help. money not a prob biggrin.gif but nothing really expensive i like to have pionner if posible thanks again matt

subs and woofers are the same thing


you can put 6.5's in the back
8 inch free air woofers in the front bottom
4 inchers in the mid spots and some tweeters up top

Subs are woofers, but they are made to handle much lower frequencies than regular woofers(why they're called subwoofers, sub=below, under... ie lower frequency).

Anyways, I don't know about the rear speakers on a vert, but I know 8" will fit in front with minimal trouble(see my how-to). I would recomend something like the Kicker RMB8(8" mid driver) for the doors and a single 10 or 12 inch sub in the trunk.

I'm trying to fit 6.75 inchers in my vert Friday.. I head from someone that put 6.5s in that they were almost too small, and that they thought 6.75s were the correct fit. So..
