Hey all, I have a coupe vert and about a week ago my trunk just stopped bolting. I'm in the habit of bolting the trunk every single time I open or close it- because in a vert you can just reach in and open the trunk if the tops down- alarm doesn't matter.

But now, it won't even turn to the left! So suddenly. I don't know what gives. It will turn to the right and pop the trunk just fine- but will no longer bolt.

Does anyone know how to fix this? or at least how to expose the unlocking and bolting mechanism? If I could see it, maybe I could figure out whats wrong. Please be detailed- I'm a little weary about unscrewing things in my car.

open your trunk and look at the inside of the rear. theres a peice of plastic, now theres some circular peices of plastic about 1.5 inches wide. pop them out. there should be like 6 of them, and then you can just pull that peice of black plastic out. now you can see the inside of your tail-lights and the complete locking mechanism of the trunk, and the cables that work it.
