To make circular holes use a hole saw, you can get it any hardware store. It is a drill bit with a circular saw on it and you just drill slowly and it cuts a hole.

For like squares and stuff use a dremel tool with reinforced cutting wheel.

i used a dremel with either the cutting wheel or the sanding barrel... both worked great. i did the primary cutting with the wheel and cleaned it up with the barrel.

drill bits work just fine for small stuff wink.gif otherwise use a large diameter drill bit.. basically what Rjb23 described.. if your looking to really large holes like for a speaker or something then you will need a router which you can pick up for 50+ from a hardware store.

as for the molds.. there are tons of differnt ways to do it.. if you had a pic of the item you wanna copy it would be easier to tell you which way to use

To make a mold you can take the piece and spray mono insulating foam all over and then pull it off. line the mold with alluminum foil and then start fibreglassing. Do a search on fiberglass basics. Someone please confirm this is a good way.

i can use drill bits i heard i couldnt, im just trying to drill out the little holes to go into my splitters, so im guessing a dremel.

mono insulating foam will this mess up my peices, will it pop tight out or will it stick to it

there is a few different ways to make a mold... like said before you could use the insulating foam or just line the piece that u want to copy with either masking tape or duck tape.. apply the first layer of fiberglass and then pull it off and work from there... the tape comes off fairly easy... with masking tape u may not be able to get it all off

first cover your piece with aluminum foil and then do the foam. it will slide right out when your done.
