I'm pretty sure there is another kit for the corolla that was 1000 dollars cheaper than that kit. http://www.turbo-kits.com/corolla_turbo_kits.html Actually I think they are the exact same kits. Here is a different seller as well http://www.wcturbo.com/t-sup-chargers.html

That url isnt working. This idea for 7A-FTE has unbelievably sparked my curiousity. How would this do with a stock ST auto tranny? is the turbo too much for it or what?

from others turbo projects the tranny has never been a problem, infact most say the turbo likes the auto.

I too am getting the TSI extreme package. Custom sounds great but right now I say get it in all one deal. The thing is Horsepower is like tatoos once you get a little you want more. Thats cutomization for you though. What Im doing is buying the extreme kit. When I get used to that power, upgrade some stuff. No use going full power on your engine right off the bat. You will get bored of the power and look for other alternitives and never would have appreciated the stuff you did with the kit. i am about 2 weeks away from buying the TSI extreme kit. Ive been saving up for some time. I'll post results and pictures once I get it.

my celica was auto and turbo.

it was great, boost would actually go up between shifts.

depending on when i gave it gas, sometimes the wheels would just spin shifting into second.

as for whether to get the IC, GET IT

and if this kit doesnt have a fuel pump, GET IT.

Trust me dude I've done waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much research on these kits, DO NOT GET THE SUPERIOR PACKAGE, ONLY GET THE UPGRADED EXTREME PACKAGE. The extreme package not only gives you the intercooler but it gives you a bigger turbo, the turbo is also a ball bearing turbo with does two things. Instead of allowing the shaft to sit in oil and float (which in time COULD make way for Shaft play BAD) this turbos ball bearings help it keep in the same place and also think about this. If you spin something in water it can slow down pretty fast, yet if you spin something on ball bearings is keeps speeds pretty much the same, you will not lose psi like a normal turbo would. and also, you get injectors turbo timer and all that good stuff. I say spend your money on a better kit. think about it if your celica is running like lets say 130hp, then the superior package will put you at 30 % more with is 1/3 more hp which would be around 40 extra which puts you at 170hp. It is a great gain but the extreme package gives you 50% which is 65 extra hp which would be about 195 to 200hp depending on boost levels. Hypothetically you could run the boost up to get you to the same levels as the extreme but why do that when you could run the levels on the extreme way higher. Hope my words help a little.

OMG DO NOT GO SHOW BEFORE GO!!!!!!!!!!!! lol, look at my car(I will post bigger pics of my car soon. My avatar is the only pic I had on my computer right now. But hey you'll get the gist from it.) and you'll see why I NEED the turbo kit. Lol I know my car is not spectacular, but I screwed up by making it look fast, now everyone tries to race me and smokes me. Put some power behind the car with the extreme kit then go show. Lol thats how I'm gonna do it from now on.
