how about being able to change that? like how on other forums people have personalized ones... i dunno, seeing "enthusiast" under everyone gets boring

hrm. very good point guys. i'll talk to coomer about this. i think coomer already says "admin" under his, and we moderators are labeled...so we'll talk about a set of different rankings.

I know it can be changed so that each user can have a custom title, but I think we'd get a lot of inappropriate titles, so it'd be best to just use an incremental system.

why not devise a system that would be incremental (sp) but also baised on the forum you post in the most.. some of us only post in some of the forums.. take the extior forum.. say a person has 5 or 6 bars and 70% of them are in exterior.. then odds are that they have a good working idea of the exterior options of the celi and are fairly familar with the exterior forum.. that way if instead of the "entuisist" ( my spellling is horrible right now) label it would reflect that that person has alot of knowledge in the exterior of the celi.
take myself of instance.. I know a fair amount on exterior and the motor but when it comes to electrical or suspension im not that adept with it.. if some newbie saw "expert" " god" or something like that under my name and asked me a suspension or electiral question.. well I would be like.. " um...... go ask someone else" and then the names would be kinda useless.. but if it said something like... "suspension novice or electrical expert" or something like that then it would point newbies in the right direction... still not 100% accurate but would be better than just genrealizing it of course we would have to have a special one for ANDASON... "6GC POST WH*RE" BTW I think we should still have the post #'s.. thats a feature I miss also
