What are the disadvantages of using computer lighting to light up your car. It is like 6 dollars for two 12"ers so i was like hmm whats wrong. It's 12v, but what is the problem and why wouldnt more people do this?

DTE was a huge cathode fan, supposidely they burn brighter, and give better colors. But definetly not as durable, and I think they last less.

see what im wondering is power draw. I'm not worried about transformers because that is easy to hide under the dash or in the center consel.

under the dash?? zip ties my friend.

hiding is easy but takes a lot of time to do it right.

ie: the people who run stereo wires through doors.
