What are the disadvantages of using computer lighting to light up your car. It is like 6 dollars for two 12"ers so i was like hmm whats wrong. It's 12v, but what is the problem and why wouldnt more people do this?

DTE was a huge cathode fan, supposidely they burn brighter, and give better colors. But definetly not as durable, and I think they last less.

They also have a much larger transformer than conventional neon lights I think.

see what im wondering is power draw. I'm not worried about transformers because that is easy to hide under the dash or in the center consel. -------------------- i am awesome

its not that easy to hide things.. I'm running out of places to hid transformers and wires
