Like, is anyone ever gonna try it, or has anyone ever thought about is seriously? I mean, I think it would look awesome...but I'd like to see it installed.

There was a thread about this a while back. Do a search for skyline and you should find it. I'd give you a link but I'm in a hurry to finish some stuff for clients and I don't have a whole lot of time. wink.gif

I don't think anyone did it yet. I think someone is seriously thinking about it though. I know Jason is planning on doing RSX tails sometime. biggrin.gif

Damn, thats too bad, they were my only hope for getting them, but if it takes 5 months and $400 i would sooner red out my tails. But if anyone else knows where to get them, let us all know. wink.gif

JDM tails can be ordered from any Toyota dealership. Just give them the part numbers and make sure they know these are Japanese parts so they check the right database.

i am the one who is trying to do this feat, but i had the chance on ebay to get a good cheap pair but i doubted myself if i could do this. so i actully let the bid go. i know it was dumb but i was short on cash and all. but now i have sum extra but i plan to by a body kit first. so yeh tail light conversion has been pushed back a few. i hope some one else will do it before me. well yeah so thats what happend with it. i dont want it coming out crappy or totaly mutilating my celica for sum tail lights, see what i mean about self doubt. biggrin.gif

It's a car made by Toyota, found in Japan, and it has sleek, different headlights than a sixth gen, but shares the same rear end as a UDSM Celica coupe. I believe that they're powered by the 3S-FE and the 3S-GE as well.

Actually, I've never seen a Celica Coupe in Japan...only hatchbacks. I THINK that the Curren is just a Celica Coupe with some crap headlights (I think the 4 in the front look WAY better) a little better engine and is more of a luxury series. You gotta realize that it costs Japanese people about $3000 to get their drivers liscences..so those who do drive have serious dough. A buddy of mine has a 1995 Curren and he said he'd trade me any day for my Celica. Definitely the 6g.

I agree for the most part...like the Supra conversions (no offense, Oreo). The Supra tailights are one of a kind...keep 'em on a Supra. But the skyline taillights would just look plain awesome on a Celica.

I think it would be hella sweet to see R34 taillights on a celica, but as soon as 1 person does it then 10 more are gonna be right behind him and i'll be played out in no time. I say to anyone that wants to do it, Go For It!
