Hi.. i was hoping if anyone has seen this 94 red celica and could point me in the right direction as to finding out the contact information to the owner.. i used to own this celica and had sold it about 3 or 4 years ago to move up to something bigger and better.. and was wondering as to how my old celica was doing.. i must admit that i miss my celica at times but i'm convinced that i made the right choice.. the new or as i should say current owner lives in the Bay Area in California... TIA

-------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

still have the vin number from old insurance papers?
run a carfax on the vin, it will tell you where the car is and if it still exists, then you can go to the dmv for contact information -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

Its a Gang's Jail body kit

that lip is a zglide.. type4.. gangs jail and zglide both make the same bodykit.. i'm not sure if they are sister companies or not but if you look in the celica hyper rev in the bodykit section there are pictures of both cars and bodykits and the only differentiation was that the gangs jail had a different rear spoiler then the zglide car.. my old celi previousely had a zglide type2 bodykit and then i got in a car accident so i changed the front bumper from a 94 to a 96 with the factory foglights and udated the entire kit with the type4.. importing that was a bitch and waiting for it to be imported was worse.. and getting JDM parts for celica in the US about 5 years ago was not fun since everything had to be imported..

thanks for all the kind words fellas.. i miss my old celi soo much.. i love my supra though.. wouldn't trade it for anything.. when i had to decide on the cars my choice was to either drop a built 3sgte with upgraded turbo or to start over from scratch with the supra.. i think i made the right decision.. especially since the # of supras on the road are starting to decline.. so many supras are getting wrecked nowadays.. but the main thing i miss about my celica is how unique it was when i had it.. to my knowledge durring the time that i owned it i was the only celica with the full zglide type 4 kit in the US then some time after i heard there was a black celica spotted in LA with the same kit and a different set of advan wheels then i had..

i tried to keep the celi but my dad wouldn't have it.. he gave me the cash to buy the supra and i needed to sell the celi to get the money back to return to him.. and at the time i didn;t have a job.. if i did have a job he would have let me keep it though.. oh well thats the past now.. my supra is BPU+++ this is what i got power wise for now..
apexi intake rmm down pipe apexi exhaust greddy Boost cut controller blitz sbc-id boost contorller hks sqv blow off valve hks sfc fuel contorller hks 264 duration camshafts hks twin disk clutch w/lightened flywheel apexi front mount intercooler TTC (true twin conversion) mod What have you got on your supra? hell what have you got on your celica too?? i have one other friend that lives in San Diego that also went from celi to supra.. as well.. he ended up keeping the celi for a while then gave it to a family member.. are you on supraforums as well? |

the mods sound nice man. I'm BPU....... Downpipe, HKs SQV BOV, k&n intake, HKS EVC Boost Control, N1 Exhaust, Blitz Twin Disk Clutch. Thats about it, later on today i'm getting S-AFC, Greddy BCC, Greddy 3 Row FMIC, and the EVC5. How do you like the TTC? I Plan on doing that to my supra too but i heard there's a little more lag, I also heard you get a better kick in the A** when brake boosting. The celi is Stock right now, But we plan on doing the 3s-GTE swap this month or the next. Hopefully there will be enough money to change the kit on the celi too because i don't really like the Invader kit Anymore. I'm Stranger on SupraForums, i don't really post though.

From I-Supra.com BPU- "Basic Performance Upgrade". These modifications are: A full length three inch down-pipe (with or with-out a high flow catalytic converter), 3” (75mm) or bigger cat-back exhaust system, raised boost (18psi), and the required boost cut eliminator (GReddy BCC) needed to achieve that boost without activating the factory fuel cut-off at 14-15psi. the + mean when someone says BPU+ ,And APU. That stands for any additional power producing modifications other than the basic BPU™ modifications. One "+" refers to Adj. Cam Gears and under-drive pulleys, the second "+" refers to a Fuel controller, ECU upgrade, etc. For instance, a Supra with the BPU™ modifications, plus a front-mount intercooler, would be called BPU™+. If you added cam gears to that, it would be BPU™++, and so on. The "BPU™" term is used until you have an upgraded turbo(s). Then it is referred to as APU, advanced performance upgrades. This designation pretty much covers every modification that can be performed. Anthony |

you know in the beginning i hated the TTC but only kept it in that mode because of the benefits that are to be had by doign so and now when i go back to sequential i can't stand it.. i love the supra in TTC now.. there is a little bit of lag but its not that big of a deal.. ppl make to big of a deal about it.. if you have ever ridden in a upgraded single turbo supra and loved it then TTC is for you.. it reacts exactly as a single turbo supra does.. you start spooling at around 2500-3000rpm and hit full boost at about 4000-4500rpm so the lag isn't that bad really.. and when that turbo kicks in TTC you sure do feel it.. it slams you back into the seat.. its great if you are driving a 6spd and doing hwy pulls.. its pretty decent on the street as well.. depending on your boost settings.. i usually keep one of my boost chanels on 10 gain and about 14-15psi for street driving on our sh!ty cali 91 octane but when me and my friends go do some hwy pulls i usually use my other chanel setting of 5 gain and 17psi.. and wait till you hear you exhaust.. it gets louder and deeper.. it sounds meaner in TTC compared to sequential.. sequential is so quiet in comparison.. on the supraforums my screen name is the same.. are you located in the socal area or norcal?
