I'm looking to getting a 6th generation celica, and I'm heading towards a '94 or '95 GT. What is the difference between the two? Does anyone have any inputs that will help me decide? Also, a liftback with manual transmission is a must.

94' and 95' are both the same. 96'-99' have clear corners, fog lights, side skirts, and a different style rear wing.

Welcome to the forums! Oreo is right when he says that the 1994 and 1995 models are the same. If you go up one more year, however, the front end is designed differently with different turn signals, has optional foglights(standard on the GT), optional side skirts, and a different style spoiler that's optional.

Well, if you are stuck on choosing between a 94 and a 95, you might as well get a 94 because it should be a cheaper price and cheaper insurance, but if you want something different, like the other guys said, get a 96 or higher then.

I have a '97 ST and it's great if because the person got all the option on it. Side skirt, alloys, cd, sunroof and spoiler. The side skirts are nice and look pretty good from the factory so if and when I add a kit I'll only need front and back. The insurance on my car is a bit high though so depending on your funds you might want to just get a older car.
