What are you 3S swap guys doing to tension your alt belt when you remove your AC compressor? The 5S bracket doesn't bolt up to the 3S head if ai remember right and with the 3S alt bracket the tension bar doesn't match up to the lower alt bolt.

i think you need a new belt for a 3sgte w/o AC. i have a new one i can sell you if you need it, cause toyota gave me the wrong belt.

No 3S-GTE never came without AC. Or else this would be really easy. I would just order the stuff from Toyota for the non AC version.

You'll probably have to go to the auto parts store and rummage through belts until you find the one with the proper length. No big deal, really. Hopefully someone who's done the swap will post and save you the time and trouble.
You could hang the compressor and just not hook anything up if you absolutely had to, but that'd be kinda silly, imo. |
