Ok just wanted to know if anyone else is having problems with the search...
When i'm in my house and i have tried to use the search.. it takes really long and stuff that i know has been posted just doesn't show up.. evern stuff that i have posted doesn't show up sometime.. any one else have problems like this? -------------------- |

yup, i haven't been able to use the search even when i know the topic existed.

That's one of the main reasons why I want to upgrade to Invision Board 2.0...unfortunately, I can't afford it, and I can't get the trial version to upgrade this version.
 Invision Board 2.0 currently has some bugs that I've found anyway...I'd report them, but I think only paying customers can report bugs.  Hopefully soon though, within a month or so, I'll have Invision Board 2.0 up and running on the site.

I updated the board so that full-text searching worked, but it was incredibly slow for some reason. And now the search is doing some weird stuff...I ordered my last search by last posting date, and results from September of 2003 showed up before stuff from July of 2004.
I'm thinking there's some sort of database corruption going on, which is not something that can be easily fixed.

I suggest using the advanced usage tips. That seems to work better for me until I have a chance to upload to version 2.0 of the forums software. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
