anyone else bothered by the fact that a non turbo motor is coming with a turbo set up. I know its possible, but I think they're a little confused. Also, I don't think the MR-2 ever came with a beams motor.

I don't think they are rip offs. I just think they are misinformed. Or maybe used to listing 3sgte's out of mr2's so they got confused.

I didn't even see a turbo on that motor in any of the picutres just a shop towel stuffed into some orrifice which I am guessing is the oil filter mount.

i dont understand, wouldnt it be cheaper to do a 3sgte swap, and youd also get more power?

beams is secksay dont get me wrong, but it just seems like it would be spending a bit much just for originality.

I want BEAMS though because damn, its just so original its worth the loss of power lol.

not to mention its N/A so thats kind of a bragging right in its own

That is how you can tell if the motor came out of a MR2 or a Celica. The tags are correct for the MR2. On the Celica, Toyota reversed the tags.
